With Wireless communications in the 0.1–10 TeraHertz (THz) band are envisioned as one of key enablers towards ubiquitous wireless beyond 5G accommodating a massive number connected devices and ultra-high user data rates order Tera-bit-per-second. The THz is located between millimeter-wave (mmWave) far infrared (IR) still considered least investigated exploited regions electromagnetic spectrum, although it offers much higher bandwidth than mmWave range more favorable propagation conditions IR band. Recently, significant progress has been made with respect to based on different technologies, commercial systems anticipated become reality near future.
